You no longer need proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to enter New Zealand.

COVID FAQ’s

i) What happens if New Zealand Adventure Guides cancels my trip because of COVID-19 travel restrictions or changes in New Zealand Government regulations?

If we need to cancel your trip due to COVID-19 travel restrictions or changes in New Zealand Government regulations we will implement our force majeure policy with regard to a travel credit or refund.

ii) What happens if I get COVID-19 symptoms during my trip?

If you test positive you will need to leave the tour and isolate. Your guide will advise you your best options for isolating with regard to accommodation, meals, transfers, and medical care. As of January 12 2023, the New Zealand Government requires that you need to isolate for 7 days, source and pay for your own accommodation, and pay for any healthcare costs. iii) If I get COVID-19 during my trip and have to isolate, who will pay for the associated costs?

You will be responsible for all additional costs associated with isolating, including but not limited to accommodations, meals, transfers, flights, and medical care. For this reason, we highly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to your trip that includes isolation coverage.
